The Master of Fuzz is the ultimate fuzz effect pedal! Based in the original Fuzz Face, it delivers everything from soft and sweet distortion to aggressive fuzzy tones. The Master of Fuzz is very sensitive to your playing dynamics, and a lot of possibilities are available just by dialing your instrument’s volume knob.

Some improvements have been made to the Fuzz Face. The main one is a rewiring of the circuit to allow a negative ground, so the Master of Fuzz can be powered by a standard negative supply.

Your quest for the ultimate Fuzz effect pedal ends here! The Master of Fuzz, based in the Fuzz Face, has it all: from sweet and soft distorted tones to raging fuzzes. The Master of fuzz is quite sensitive to the input volume, so simply dialing your instrument volume knob you can have a whole fuzz sound palette.

The Master of Fuzz is inspired in the original Fuzz Face with some tweaks and updates. First of all, the Blend potentiometer controls the bass level and overall fatness. The Output knob lets you set the overall output volume, and Drive adjusts the amount of fuzz produced.

As the original Fuzz Face, the Master of Fuzz also uses PNP transistors, but they are wired in a way that the circuit has a standard negative ground (so you don’t need an isolated power supply!). And the best thing: it’s super quiet!
